The stars of British action-adventure Attack The Block will ‘tool-up’ for the UK premiere in London’s prestigious Leicester Square on Wednesday 4 May to mark the invasion of our inner-city by outer-space intruders.

The new sci-fi flick which pits inner city kids against aliens, comes from the producers of Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and Paul.

Attack The Block is a fast, funny, frightening action-adventure movie that pits a teenage gang against an invasion of savage alien monsters.

It turns a London housing estate into a sci-fi playground, a tower block into a fortress, and teenage street kids into heroes.

The Big Talk Pictures movie was produced by Nira Park and James Wilson.

With Matthew Justice, Tessa Ross, Jenny Borgars, Will Clarke, Olivier Courson and Edgar Wright on executive producer detail.

Attack The Block will be released in cinemas in the UK and Ireland on Wednesday 11 May by Optimum Releasing. Certificate: 15. Running time: 88mins.
